On the basis of many years sociological research author determines the main directions of enterprise’s managers activity which characterizes by the efficiency and quality of decisions making; by human-oriented management system, the personnel involvement in solving socially significant problems, the integrated development of knowledge, skills and competencies of various professional qualification and status groups of employees. As well the data of the social assessment of management quality are presented taking into account the compliance with the conditions of personnel labor activity, satisfaction and employees social well-being in various production and economic situations. The article establishes the reasons that restrain the personnel initiative and entrepreneurship as well determines the professional orientations of employees.

 

Resilience of social systems: the essence of the concept and its applicability at different levels of society

The article deals with the specific interdisciplinary phenomenon of resilience, which is able to penetrate into various branches of knowledge, such as sociology, public administration, and ecosystem management, at the theoretical and conceptual level. The authors consider it fruitful to transfer the study of this phenomenon at the level of an individual to society, social systems, management systems, and control subsystems. Aspects of the applicability of the concept of resilience at the level of social and socio-economic systems, as well as at the level of managing entities in the context of their management activities are analyzed. The essence, content features and tools for assessing and strengthening the resilience of the socioeconomic system are determined.

The article considers internal personal and external organizational restrictive factors of perfectionism which provide basis for distinguishing types of perfectionism at the level of personal construct and personnel behavior aimed at successful combination of perfectionistic mindset, typical of such workers, and socially valuable objectives by means of identifying the root motive of activity and applying adequate forms of external motivation.

The paper deals with the theoretical concepts of the essence of the conflict, studies the content and resources for the employees conflictological competence development. The results of an empirical analysis of the value foundations of the employees’ performance in the financial-credit sector are presented. It justifies the importance of value-motivational meanings that determine employees' perceptions of professional activity goals and their interpretation of successful professional behavior, in the processes of formation the constructive behavior models in a conflict situation is substantiated.

Study of satisfaction with the labor process of pedagogical workers of orphanages

The article is part of a complex of studies devoted to solving the problem of labor motivation of teachers in orphanages. In the process of conceptual analysis of the development of the theory of motivation and the characteristics of labor motivation of pedagogical workers in orphanages, it was determined that a decrease in labor activity of the considered professional group is associated with demotivating factors. These factors include: poor relations in the teaching staff; bad relations with the administration of the institution; dissatisfaction with the wage system, economic and moral incentives; shortcomings in the organization of work. The degree of satisfaction with the employee's personality is in this regard in direct proportion and can be measured by a set of assessments from various aspects of the professional activities of the employees of the institution. The article attempts to empirically diagnose the job satisfaction of pedagogical workers in orphanages in order to outline the ways of management decisions aimed at improving the social status of teachers in an organizational context.

Generational conflicts in modern organizations and ways to solve them

The article notes that in the modern organizational environment, conflicts between representatives of different generations become relevant: baby-boomers, X, Y, Z. The main groups of differences among representatives of different generations are identified, which can be considered as potential causes of the conflict of generations. Possible ways to manage generational conflicts in the organization are proposed, the main of which is the style of cooperation, which allows to find opportunities for mutual synergy in the labor process for representatives of different generations.

 

Economic evaluation of organizational personnel management projects and calculation of regulatory costs

The methodology and basic elements of the business process of one-stage economic assessment of organizational projects for personnel management at Russian enterprises are presented. The features of the proposed methodology are based on the assumption of future digitalization and are associated with the need for a preliminary calculation of the maximum possible project costs, localization of the projects under consideration at operating enterprises and the mandatory separation of project goals for increasing sales or reducing the number of personnel. In accordance with the different objectives of the projects, a certain order and special indicators of decision-making are proposed. To determine the maximum possible costs for a personnel management project, a calculation model with four variables is proposed. Special indicators of decision-making include a single criterion - additional profit from sales with constant or growing profitability and the control characteristics of the enterprise.

 

Features of work with personnel in the IT sphere

The article is devoted to the distinctive characteristics of work with personnel in the IT sphere. The main task facing the authors was to analyze the positions and assess the attractiveness of the IT sphere in the labor market. The article presents the results of research on the level of wages in the IT industry. It also discusses the pros and cons of working in this area, as well as the main team management techniques - Scrum, Kanban and Burnout Diagram. The article analyzes the competitive advantage of the IT sphere relative to other areas of activity. The main features of the search and selection of IT specialists are revealed.

Risk analysis of migrant workers in the host community of a large industrial city

This article examines the risks of incoming labor migration in St. Petersburg. We found out a lot of negative attitudes towards migrants and identified the risks that are common in the host society. Despite the government's attempts to create a favorable environment for the adaptation and integration of migrants, current efforts are not sufficient to overcome the risks of socio-professional and ethnic migration to the host community of St. Petersburg.

 

Searching for transnationalism online: review of web sites on migration issues in six languages

The paper presents the results of empirical study of web sites related to migration issues in Russian, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uzbek and Tajik languages. The authors seek to answer the following question: What sources of information on migration issues are common for various segments of the Internet? Social challenges of social transformations

Attitudes of russians and europeans with regard to the problem of climate change - skepticism or ambivalence?

Climate change of the earth is one of the most significant global problems for humanity, and its solution requires the joint efforts of countries, companies and people. So far, the scale and consolidation of efforts to resolve this problem between countries and within individual countries remain rather limited, and the results of the measures taken are more than uncertain. An important component in solving the problem of climate change is the support and broad participation of the population. Comparative data on attitudes and views of the population of different countries on the problem of climate change in the earth were obtained in the eighth wave of the European Social Research (ESS). Based on these data, an analysis is made of the structure of people's attitudes towards the problem of climate change in 23 European countries, including Russia, and the peculiarities of the perception of this problem by certain social groups. By now, the countries of "Greater Europe" have reached a relatively high consensus regarding the basic aspects of attitudes towards the problem of climate change - high public awareness of the problem, awareness and acceptance of it as a global threat to humanity, as well as its anthropogenic causes. However, with regard to attitudes that have a motivating meaning and influence the actual behavior of people or their political views in support of specific solutions aimed at combating climate change, the differences between European countries are very large. With only a few exceptions, readiness for joint action to tackle climate change in European societies is still very low. Russian society is distinguished by a particularly deep ambivalence in its views on the possible consequences of climate change, as well as in supporting various actions aimed at combating the problem.

Drivers of development of the customer-oriented approach in logistics of management of services of transport and logistics companies are revealed.
